Purpose of Program:

To provide meaningful child care for the children of missionaries in South Asian countries during their annual Retreat and Branch Conference

40 kids ages 0 – 16

Country Description:

India is not only the world’s largest democracy in the world but also the largest English speaking nation. The fast growing city of Bangalore is situated in southern India on the Deccan Plateau. It has been given the name Garden city for its beauty and as India’s leading information technology exporter, it is referred to as the Silicon Valley of India.

Estimated Costs:

  • Flights (from the US approximately $1700 USD)
  • Refuge 139 Cost $1500 USD – (includes room/board, in-country expenses, visa, evacuation insurance)

As this is not an official Refuge 139 program, participants should expect they are largely on their own for arranging logistics. Those with food allergies or special diets may want to bring their own food or decide to choose another trip.
